When I was on probation I wasn’t allowed to leave the county without written permission, needed to be on call for random drug tests in person, couldn’t hang out with anyone else who was on probation, and couldn’t be with more than 5 peers at a time. I had a covid conspiracy theorist sibling argue to my face against what I was observing personally while working in a hospital during that time. It was frustrating and I now assume this person doesn’t work with actual evidence or logic, just vibes. They are a mom’s basement goblin and managed to get covid while I didn’t, and I had way more exposure opportunities.

I feel like there are countless teams playing at any given time and assuming you picked the only correct one is a stupid decision. And he’s not alone! A team of idiots worked together to make these nothing texts look suspicious and none will lose their jobs for it.

Fallout my ass, he’ll get re elected because truth is whatever they feel like. Fallout would be getting censured, pressured until they resign, then investigating their activity in office for criminal activity until they run out of money for good lawyers.

I understand that millions of dollars are being wasted going after a “miniscule” number of abusive recipients, and that it’s dumb to do so when the money could be better spent elsewhere.

If the number of single white males abusing the system is miniscule, doesn’t that imply that the numbers from smaller demographic groups are even lower? Is there a problem or isn’t there, you can’t have it both ways.
