During a rally in Tennessee on Saturday, President Donald Trump teased his supporters about their blind devotion, telling a crowd, “I could say the stupidest things and you’d clap.”
Trump, who has been touring the country trying to stir up his MAGA base amid shaky prospects for the November midterms, admitted visiting the deep red state wasn’t a must, but that he was there to thank his followers and soak up the love.
“We don’t say the stupidest things, we say things of common sense,” the president continued, just like a perfectly normal human who is not a secret lizard person.
Common sense is overrated. It’s often just a pretext for people to hold bullshit vibey opinions.
He has. They did.
And then everyone clapped.
Literally
Like trained seals.
The fact that he says that and they don’t pick up on the full meaning of it is telling.
Unfortunately he’s not wrong.
They’re not too bright, these maga folks.
Good thing he’s old! Not that I care for what comes after but boy would that be the best day ever! Think of it! The whole world will join in rapturous celebration! I already have my fireworks ready to go 👱☠️🎆!
he would just be replaced with someone else
Yeah, well I still got my fireworks ready to go
Yeah, but do any of his brainwashed disciples love anyone as much as they love him? He’d be replaced, but it’s hard for me to envision any replacement garnering the same quality of blind devotion.
Can you imagine them trying to put up Vance banners and Vance trying to sell stupid AI NFTs and gold sneakers and stupid memorial coins of Vance’s mug on them?
I don’t understand the appeal of dimbulb donnie, but Vance has all the appeal of a damp rag.
That is what happens when you’re speaking to the stupidest people alive.

He says that like there is a difference in their stupidity and his.
I bet anything he loathes his average supporter. Doesn’t want to be anywhere near them.
And I bet anything he thinks he is so much smarter than everyone, most especially his base. He keeps going on about his uncle and his genes and his IQ. There’s no way he thinks his average voter is as bigly smart-brained as he is.
