What if the convoy had a broken taillight? Pull them over, oh what’s that? Calm down sir. Sir. Sir!!! Take him down! Resisting arrest! Pow pow pow.

Over in 5 seconds. Cops investigate themselves and find no policy was broken.

    The end.

This is closer to an assassination with the veneer of police brutality, which for a fascist like Netanyahu is probably a mercy compared to what he deserves.

Yes, unefuckingquivocally. Hands fucking down. Some fuckbag in power makes orders that cause dozens, hundreds, thousands, more, of the deaths of small people who don’t make the news?

YES. THAT PIECE OF GARBAGE SHOULD BE KILLED. Every single fucking one of them. Root and fucking branch.

Yes. Killing when done righteously is a chore like any other, and sometimes the easiest way of dealing with someone is to just blow their brains out. Mind you I’m more than comfortable enough to admit I am biased as fuck, like yes it’d suck if say Mamdani was killed but at the same time imagine if someone set off a car bomb and vaporized a couple Congress critters during the RNC.

In this particular case, it would be nice for something that’s a regular daily occurrence for regular, non war criminal folks, to happen. It’s not exactly an unbelievable script-guy is clearly brown. Obviously had it coming

The law of the jungle always sticks around.

NYPD who probably hate Mamdani on average

      vs

actual Mossad psychopaths who will do just about anything to prevent Israeli accountability

      It’s a nonstarter.

Yeah, there’s a non-zero chance the NYPD just goes rogue if ordered to do something they don’t want to do, especially if there’s an excuse of it potentially being illegal.

That’s not to say the mayor should just let them dictate what their job is, but it has to be factored in when trying to do something on shaky ground.

I’m confused how many people seem to believe the NYPD will do whatever Mamdani says here with no question.

Do they know anything at all about the NYPD?

I do think it’s important to try to bring them to heel, but that’s going to have to be done in ways where defying him is seen as perverting the good order of democratic society rather than anything where they can claim to be the principled actor. Then start firing anyone who refuses.

At best, it would take years to even start accomplishing that. He has to build up enough political capital to outweigh decades of copaganda.

Pretty funny watching the tankie response to this as if it’s a huge betrayal and proof that reformist socialism can’t work and all candidates are liars and blah blah blah… No mayor in the world has the power to unilaterally arrest a foreign leader unless it’s a sovereign city-state like Vatican City. I wonder how they’d react to, say, the mayor of Shanghai arresting Kim Jong Un.

The whole conversation is grandstanding and purity signaling when we should be talking about actual powers held by Mamdani (and other Mayors/Governors). From high level strategies for divesting from Israel to simple subterfuge and disruption of daily fascist operations.

“Sorry Netanyahu, looks like every road to your meeting is now under construction. You’ll have to walk through the protesters”

I literally yet to see a single person is upset be cause he can’t do it. I mean duh, he’s mayor. He can’t tell people to get arrested. Why is media keep underlining that people getting mad?

Where are those people? Am I not seeing them because I’m in America? I think big tech again meddling some weird algorithmic shit to manipulate something. Idk what but it doesn’t feel natural. It’s like reading a news about that’s it shines.

Edit; ok I’ve seen some clueless idiots just a few lines below. Guess some people do are really dumdums

He should take a page out of the lawless con playbook - just do it and let the courts decide later.

Just like Donvict: slapped his name on the Kennedy Center, tore down the East wing, repainted the reflecting pool, sent ICE in to attack our cities, sent in Tulsi and the FBI to steal ballots, etc…

Yeah, as much as it’s warranted and deserved, finding a willing contingent of NYPD cops to attempt to stop, be able to get past his US and Israeli security details, and actually take him into custody would be pretty incredible.

The right .ove would have been strategic ambiguity. Since he couldn’t do it, hold back the announcement until after the visit. Leave that little cloud of doubt hanging over the war criminal while he’s there.

I thought we weren’t worried about the law. We do the thing and then wait for the courts to sort it out.
