We were discussing our ability to absorb the price increases pretty easily and how we feel not a shred of compassion for the maga shitheads who experience financial precarity because of how they voted. On the other hand, I feel bad for their children who didn’t choose to have groceries become less accessible, their education shat upon, and the same with every other way those kids get hurt by their stupid parents’ bad politics.

And that’s saying nothing of all the good people who didn’t invite this upon themselves and tried to prevent it from happening but suffer just the same. I hope for the least harm to be visited upon people who didn’t do this to themselves. And the most for those that cheered for it. (I normally only want good things for people, but I take this moment to give in to my anger a bit.)

I dunno, install an interesting OS or distro and use it as a throwaway sandbox for learning. Or turn it into a makeshift router (not via installing pfsense or other router OS, but by configuring network services by hand in Debian or Ubuntu).
