It’s yet another price they’ll gladly pay to stick it to the liberals. The ones that realize they’re paying that money.
There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they’ve already enlisted in the cause. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.

the woman who was found with multiple fetuses in her home
How is it these days I can be both shocked at something while also thinking, “that tracks”?
Want to crack down on crime? Go after the ones who are trying to pin crime on others. It sure seems they project 99% of the time.

Exactly what I meant. Not to show my age, but anyone else remember the punchline of the SNL skit of the Bush Sr./Dukakis debate? Dukakis is asked if he has a response to the stupid Bush lines being thrown out, and he says “I can’t believe I’m losing to this guy.”
Except these days the Democrats are so not self-aware that they’re celebrating a win and shooting themselves in the foot doing it. Again.

That being close to taking a majority is big news should be embarrassing. Should have been there to start with. Stop hyping up a failure, just do it.

I think without looking, statistically it’s not great.

The analogy isn’t quite right, but I know you wanted to use the quote.
MAGA is Joker, and the US doesn’t have a Batman anywhere, maybe a few Gordons but they don’t have enough power to do much. Although as all analogies do, this breaks because MAGA leaders would never burn their half of the money for a message. They want every dime for themselves.

It’s not dysfunctional, it’s that ordinary matter can’t be used to explain the observations because there would be other signs of it there. It may not even be matter, and I’m sure there’s a theory out there that uses other things to explain the gravitation without a mass. In some ways that would be cleaner, but much harder to validate.

Saying “just dark matter” might be missing what could be a whole category of types of objects and particles. The wiki for dark matter is rather long and detailed. There isn’t one type, that’s part of the problem of seeing unexplained influences that need certain properties but by principle is hard to detect normally.
In short, something is going on in the observed evidence of what is termed as dark matter. Normal matter we’re familiar with doesn’t work. So we make models of things it might be and try to verify them.

Trump says a lot of things. Wondering if it’s true, and how he plans on profiting from the trade. You know he doesn’t do anything out of kindness or helping Americans, so how is he making money here? Maybe shorting the price?

If it was police, I’d say let’s see the video to determine who was in danger.
It’s ICE. We know who was in danger, and there probably wasn’t a legit reason for the arrest either.

If lots of people, including powerful people, change what they call something because he told them to, that’s just feeding his ego. That’s all he’s in for at this point. At least this is a grift to also make money off people, I didn’t see any way to profit from changing Lake Ontario’s name, except maybe as a distraction in the media, and again, his ego.

“If you’ve got nothing to hide…”
Oh, that’s just for the peasants, got it.

Something, something, great businessman, blah, blah.

That makes sense, I suppose. It also is why using the downvote for opinion instead of if it’s a relevant post muddles the effect. There’s no middle vote of, “sort of agree, but with conditions” arrow. Which is why adding comments, like you and BLHW did, is better than any arrow vote. Thanks for that.
I disagree on term limits. I do think too many in Congress are past their prime, maybe not just in age but in generational thinking of what’s needed NOW. New blood, new ideas are needed. But for the few that can adapt with the needs of society, for them to be kicked out because of age or time in office solely because of a rule and not because of their abilities would be a loss. Granted, it’s a few, but that’s a few we can’t afford to lose. If we can use the built in term limits of an election to remove the right ones, that’s far better than a blanket law.
What would really be helpful too is a way to do a vote of no confidence. Analogy: If you’re doing a poor job at work, the boss isn’t going to wait until next hiring session to decide what to do with you, he lets you know first and then gets rid of the problem if there’s no change.

All are problems which inhibit a fair election. All are difficult to change to. None of the problem are fixed by placing a hard limit on terms.
And not to you directly, but I got a lot of downvotes on my post, and yet nothing rebutting it. This is why we’re stuck here. As an American I’ll say that it’s so American to just sit it out and hope next time things will be better.

Term and age limits just replace one person with another without the choice of the voters. No quality change is guaranteed.
Ask this: why is someone still in the position after an election if they’re doing a bad job? Or if their age is affecting their work, i.e. doing a bad job? Maybe we should fix that problem.
Only a few choices and they both suck? Well, let’s fix THAT problem.

Trump? He’s President for himself. Immunity is addictive.

They’re okay with it. He’s just saying what they’ve been afraid to say out loud.
They can prove otherwise, as you said. But they won’t.

Jesus didn’t say to force religion on people
Simple to understand, but these Christians would be the first to set upon Jesus if he came back and put him on another cross. Blood cult, they should stop using his name in theirs, it’s literally sacrilegious.
I wish more actual Christians would rise up against their “brethren” who talk like this, if nothing else to say that it’s not what Jesus taught. Defend your religion.
Whew, fortunately someone wrote a stern letter. Okay, we’re back on track.
