Ok. How are ABC, Fox and NBC breaking anti trust laws?

Ok. How are ABC, Fox and NBC breaking anti trust laws?

Then why comment at all? Actually, never mind. Don’t care.

CNN and CBS maybe, now that the merger is finalized. How are ABC, Fox and NBC breaking anti trust laws?

Why is this great to see? Did you read the article or even the first paragraph?
The Justice Department is investigating whether the major television networks - ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News - violated federal antitrust laws when the group briefly suspended their pooled coverage of President Trump, according to six people with knowledge of the department’s action.
It’s retaliatory by the administration.

Or it could be why they got the party nod even though they weren’t attractive candidates to the people.
I’d actually expect it to be more likely if Newsom gets the nod for VP and then tries to launch that to a Presidential run the next time around.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris. Gavin Newsom has never been VP with a President who’s not running again.

Former Vice President Al Gore. Gavin Newsom has never been VP with a President who’s not running again.

Maybe. He’s losing popularity in his home state though, and I wonder how attractive a candidate whose home state doesn’t like them will be at the national level.

I think you just slipped into an ad hominem attack, but at least you stand corrected.

If that were true it still wouldn’t be a civil war, it would be a military coup.

Whole states are going to go to war with other states, eh? People are just blindly going to engage in violent conflict because their elected officials tell them too? Are they going to war using line infantry too?
I encourage you to really think through your original statement and the actual likelihood of that outcome. Unless your goal was to just make a bombastic doomer comment that really means nothing.

Yeah? How do you see that playing out? Can you explain what civil war in that scenario would look like?

I’m fairly confident there won’t be any midterms this time around.
This is just wrong. I’ve already voted in my state, my ballot has been received, and counted. I know my state will not bow to federal pressure on election interference.
It’s entirely possible the administration will work to quell and intimidate in person voting. They might try some post election fuckery like 2020, but the midterm vote will take place.
Spreading the claim that “there won’t be any midterms” will only serve to discourage those who would otherwise vote.
That is basically a non-answer and doesn’t mean anything.
You struggling to understand a statement doesn’t make it a non-answer.
The reality is AI is classified a national security priority and therefore has the US govt to prevent it from running out of money.
Your conflating the current technology AI and AI companies.
but ultimately its the willingness of people/companies to use the AI that results in the win.
Ah, you’re one of those people.
There is no way it doesn’t get propped up by the government at this rate.
There absolutely is a way. It starts with people hold their governments and representatives accountable.
The AI companies can and absolutely should fail. AI itself isn’t going anywhere. That Genie is out of the box.

Arguably, yes. 1 and 4.

According to experts the 80%-90% of Americans are a dysfunctional home. According to Whitfield M.D. about 90% of families are dysfunctional, dysfunctional families have a high prevalence of PTSD. PTSD is likely to cause children to have bad grades. Children are likely to be spanked in American homes for poor academic performance.
None of this is from the page you linked.
My thought is the AI market won’t crash because especially in data engineering and devops there is an inherent worth.
Did you see Anthropic’s IPO filing? The company is upside down and there’s so much commingling between 3 or 4 companies that when one goes the rest will topple like dominoes.
What won’t crash are the billionaires at the top. See, they’re going to cash out with piles of money and leave the index fund investors (e.g. the every day person) holding the bag.

Thanks for clarifying! I’m with you in that I don’t share Talarico’s religious views but I asked because I wouldn’t say I don’t agree either.
I feel like he applies the teachings he’s learned from his faith without the evangelizing. I don’t get there’s a sense he’s trying to get people to jump into his religion but more he’s using his faith to try and communicate through action how people can be more caring and decent to one another.
Perfect is the enemy of good (enough).
