I don’t like smartphones and only have one as I needed to get it for a previous job. That being said I love wireless charging mainly because the easiest thing to break is a plug in charging cord. mag cords bring that to near zero but wireless charging brings it to actually zero.

to me the whole republican party is part of this and with the violation of the constitution as policy im no longer willing to pretend its a valid political party and not a traitorous anti american organization.

that would be way to much. Data centers are huge and energy intensive. If this was using 3% of the power of a datacenter just to keep one antimatter particle isolated. ugh.

yeah and you might be on to something. they might already have ideas to reduce the size or complexity and might follow up using a different design. I have been involved in a lot of projects with a large and ugly prototype to prove some stuff and then greater effort is put into design once they know the idea works.

so again. if the energy used to capture is trivial to the energy used to contain. I want to know that. What im really looking for is the practicality of long term storage.

Im not so sure. creating antimatter is not trivial. if they could keep it contained indefinately at little cost it would be kept to use with other experiments. Maybe that is why its stopped. To be used with another experiment. I just would like to know why and what its final dispensation was.

Man the two things I would have liked from the article is how much total energy did this cost to do. Im guessing if it was up scaled it should not cost much more than doing a single particle although I guess more magnetic power do to gravity. Then also it does not say why it only lasted that long. Did they intentionally stop or did something stop working and a particle of regular matter managed to touch it.

a single particle almost nothing. if it was a gram though it would be bad.

look im not that committed to a different scheme. Just seems to me once you get to a week and do a weekly you are good on days. heck I would do 6 daily ones and have the weekly one just be the 7th day of the week. free up yet another deep backup.

came to say something like this but not sure why you would do daily for 10 days. Your doing weeklys so why not 7. I would rather increase the monthly to 7 or do 6 bi monthly and keep a yearly.

Man. At least one isp in my area gives you the business plan if you just ask for it. I mean you need to give a business name but you can make it anything you like.

i mention my location all the time here but not exact and I lie. its like map directions. don’t use your home. you know your local area well enough. use an address in the direction you want to go thats at about the point you need directions

Everyone seems to be taking this as the dogs being in the bed. Our dog is welcome to be there but prefers not to. Im pretty sure she gets to hot. She only goes on 1: to wake us up or 2: when she is really scared. She does however often lay on the floor right next to me and I will sometimes pet her if im awake at the time. She is still sleeping nearby.
