For the first 100 days, restoring the status quo is already going to be a tall order given they’ll have opposition every step along the way. Fixing the damage needs to happen first and foremost before being able to progressing positive new change. Even if Dems somehow sweep both the house and Senate they still have to deal with Trump vetoing bills and such unless they miraculously win a super majority. They should at least be able to block his EOs and mitigate more damage though.

It will only resonate with people that are already on their knees for him. I highly doubt it’s going to bring anyone into the fold and has more potential to push potential voters away.

At our company, when the price increase hit, we moved to AVD. It was cheaper and the reliability has been significantly better.

Also, not all Jewish people are zionists just like not all black people are criminals or hispanics illegal immigrants. Systemic racism isn’t something a mayor can just solve over night. He has made other moves that help all people like more affordable housing as an example.

Other than major police reform, which isn’t an easy task in itself, what other actions would you like to see him take to tackle anti-black racism? Genuinely, I’m curious what he as mayor could do. Again, the math doesn’t care if you’re trans or not. I understand the emotional belief that not voting is somehow justified, but it’s flawed in reality. On one hand, you have a candidate that is anti trans in sports and on the other you have someone that wants to block hormone therapy, and child care, and wants to send trans people to mental institutions. You decision supports the latter.

I just drove through a handful of states in the Midwest on a trip. I think I’m average it was around $6.20. the most I saw was $7.15, but that was at a podunk station off the beaten path that was more expensive across the board.

We saw one pump that a fellow filled up diesel and the total bill was $185 at $6.15. Insane costs.

I agree. It’s both the people and the system. There are people that will hate someone because they do drag ignoring everything else about that person. That’s certainly a learned behaviour from education and other environmental factors like family. It definitely doesn’t help that the US fucked up government is passing legislation to block teaching of different walks of life, so it’s not likely going to get better before it gets worse. Hopefully more adults that aren’t as corrupt will instill better views in their children outside of the fucked curriculums.

Your Monet example I spot on for it. If I heard someone just say they didn’t like them, I honestly wouldn’t know if they meant the act or the person because of what they do. I personally don’t enjoy the product because it’s so over the top, but I have no problems with the people or those that do like it.
