Hello! Some info about me is up on my website: https://wreckedcarzz.com/

.bat, .vbs, .ps1: “it’s showtime”

…I dare you to give it a taste test

“Jeb!”
fixed it for ya

I went from Dockge to Dockhand, though both are good. Dockge was my UI of choice for the last couple of years, so slim and simple. I tried Dockhand on a whim and the extra features won me over, without having a bazillion buttons and confusing UI.

Idk, my bff Jill

So if it’s hitting ‘full force’ now, where was it before? Half force? 5/8ths?
I really, really dislike this title.

Why do all phone model names suck? They’re all just useless word salad.
The eyeFone Titanium Ultra Mega Super-duper Max Pro XL 27 Hotdog and Hamburger Fold Mini Edition (with someone’s name etched at 8pt font, and in their favorite color for only $6,000 more). Battery and charger not in included.
Just use [company] Phone [release/year]. That’s it. And have a decent company name, too; sitting on the keyboard and going with whatever comes out isn’t good enough.

I bought a couple (travel routers) from GL.iNet. They are small, similar to the unifi model linked above. They fit in a pocket in a pinch, though it’s not the most comfortable experience

However, there is no iron in here. Ironic…

Eh, not really. G dropped the ball this year 100%, but the fold is fine. While helping a family member upgrade their 6 a couple days ago, I poked my head at the new fold, being a 10F owner myself. And it’s even more money for essentially a hotfix for the 10F. And they don’t offer anywhere near enough trade-in credit to offset that price. That’s the problem this year; stagnation and higher costs. That’s it, roll credits.
The user who buys a pixel usually won’t leave to buy a galaxy, or a motorola, or almost anything else. They don’t buy it for the aspect ratio, or to get 5 minutes of fame that they bought the new shiny thing this week. The pixel (nexus) followers are few but incredibly sticky; from my own close social circle, of the… 9? 10? I have converted, only 2 have left for other brands; in the last 14 years. A ~75%+ retention rate over a decade and a half is absolutely wild. Of the other 2, one went iPhone, and one bounces between brands every year.
The pixel fold is going to be fine.

Yeah, the title is weird. Just say ‘two cars’. And why did they light 15 on fire but only bothered trying to put out 9 - sorry, 60%?
I’d read the story but I feel that if they can’t at least make a coherent title, it’s not worth the effort of trying to piece together the story.

“I just really hate [redacted] but I love my fellow [redacted], I really hate paying taxes and I love being privileged through no effort of my own, so this group really speaks to me” essentially

Yeah, reading that title, I was like… I’m glad that we are finally there, but jesus christ why has it taken 50 years to just get to this point

Now now don’t sshush the server, it’s doing the best it can, okay? It gets hot in that box…

The gun is for the printer if it tries its bullshit one more time

It’s the speakers, fyi

I’m happy with my 10 Fold, but…
Xperia
Fairphone
cries in US

Is calyx still a thing? I used to use it years ago. iode is a new one to me :o

No problem :)
Very similar, but I’m using Gemma4 12b. I could run 26b but that would exhaust my vram after a short interaction. And ollama. Open WebUI + Home Assistant hooked up with it, a couple very basic scripts I threw together, and connected to Kagi.
I’m trying to get my folks off the Gemini/Google bandwagon for the privacy aspect, but also because it’s just cool from a tech geek perspective. For me, any questions throughout the day that I want info on, but not enough to do a deep-dive for an hour+, gets fed to Steve, my models name. Or I’ll use it as a springboard and then properly read the citations for more info. And I feed it HA automations when I get stuck scratching my head on an edge case or whatever - it’s alright but helps me explain what I want from the automation, and when it understands my goal, great, and when it doesn’t I reflect on what I have setup and can usually go ‘ah ha’ and fix the issue. It’s like a rubber ducky/pair programmer that you can both think is an idiot sometimes, but it doesn’t judge you when you’re the idiot.
