“Parental autonomy” and “parents’ rights” have been used as euphemisms for allowing parents to cause harm to their kids as though it’s their God-given right. That’s what it means.

autonomy
I think you spelled “abuse” wrong.
Kids’ bodily autonomy is often an afterthought or even laughed at by some on the right. Anyone who believes that smacking their family around is okay should be thrown in prison or worse. If I witnessed an adult abusing a kid in public anywhere, I’d likely go to jail (and don’t anyone give me any bullshit about spanking or “only” using an open hand being different).
Parents who hit their kids are the worst, and deserve every bit of pain that comes from those kids eventually going no contact.
It is absolutely not a parent’s right to cause harm to their kid. Anyone who says otherwise is truly a terrible person.
If this take seems extreme to anyone, I’d encourage you to seek therapy and re-evaluate your life.

This guy needs to be fired. Into the center of the sun.

He is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old girl when he was 18, according to Tyler Boebert’s arrest affidavit written by invesigators from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Just for context, for those of us not reading the article.
There are plenty of other reasons he’s a douche, though, which are also in the article… like sharing those videos without the girl’s permission on Instagram.

packing up
You spelled “loading” wrong.
(To clarify, I meant loading groceries. Obviously.)

Doge overstated claims to have saved Americans $110bn
You think? And how much money did that asshole piece of guillotine fodder waste?
Definitely. The thing is, we’ve known this for decades. Parents still doing it don’t have ignorance as an excuse.
