I get that maybe you don’t like SMP cause they started using AI tools (fair) but, if you actually look at the codebase none of what would help you is even AI driven and has been a stable function long before the dev started using AI.

Have you tried strawberry music player? Has some pretty decent tools to get music files organized.

The bigger privacy concerns are going to be from the streaming services you use, not the box itself, unless your using something like a SuperBox which is a known botnet.
