I tend to look for specific songs. If I can’t find something on Bittorrent, I’ll look on all the p2p networks, and if it’s not there either, I’ll settle for downloading audio-only off of YT.

I care more about file type than file size, but an average movie for me is about 5-6G. I tend to prefer 720p. I don’t need 1080p, since I’m just watching on my computer.

Why are they subject to KYC requirements? Are they a finance company?

I started to sign up a couple years ago, maybe, and they wanted a massive amount of personal info. It never made sense to me. If I was willing to give all that out to some random company online, I wouldn’t need a privacy service.

Noctalia + Wayfire finally lured me away from XFCE.

Great! I like the design.
You can use tor with any browser. I run it as a service, and use the SmartProxy extension to use it in Librewolf. That also allows me to disable it for specific tabs if I want to.
I don’t know how/if it’s possible to use bridges with this setup, though.
I use tor with Librewolf and have it set up that way.
Never heard of an email system that can only send email to addresses from one provider.
No, no need to use a bridge where I am.
Interesting. I didn’t know a bridge made so much difference in performance. If only this could be improved.

I do not, sorry.

I use most of these things. Never get any weird reactions, though. Most people I know prefer them.

There’s gotta be a way to hack these things.

It reads like it’s written badly as a joke to me.

That’s disappointing to me.

I don’t necessarily want to watch something at the time I’m downloading it. I usually watch later.

Same. I felt so much more relaxed after I stopped checking in on FB.
It’s the average file size I see for the things I’m searching, so I don’t think of it as extra. Smaller files visually look bad, or don’t sound right.
