Surban mom.

I’m in a part of the country where I’m competing with global talent for a job. To be frank, I’m not that good - and neither are most people. It makes it incredibly difficult to get a job in the area. So, I’m not totally heartbroken about the fee. I’d like to see more companies invest in local talent.

We should do this because it is progress (and also cruel not to do it). But in an ideal world, college and trade school should be free.

Welp, I don’t support Hakeem Jeffries. So, there you go.

It is going to take decades to recover from the mess Trump leaves us with.

It’s tricky because the people who live in high risk areas live there because that is frequently what they can afford. It also means they may not be able to afford the rising costs of insurance. The issue is complex and the reality is that wildfire prevention and mitigation is expensive. We will end up paying one way or another.

He’s trying to keep electricity rates down for California residents (which are driven in part by wildfire costs). Is this the best way? I’m not sure. But if residents aren’t paying via electricity rates, they will pay another way. Insurance (if you can get it). Taxes (if voters will agree to it). Maybe other ways. None of them are that palatable.

OMG, we cannot let this man become a martyr. If that means shoving him into a catering cart, then so be it.

I don’t think they are as badly positioned as the millennials.

Wait, why would the CDC be enforcing state-level laws?

Idiots can be out smarted and beaten in races. Maybe this is a self correcting problem. 🤞

Feel like it’s real relevant in Washington State this week.

Maybe I been living under a rock, but what egregious crime do they think Faucci committed?

💯 They only voted for Trump so they can be openly racist.

One person moving to Seattle to survive is inconsequential. But I really hate what growth over the last 30 years has done to my hometown. I feel like the culture has been completely decimated. 😕

So was the previous cilantro outbreak caused by someone pooping in a hole near crops or from contaminated irrigation water (likely from livestock)? It seems like a material difference to me because it changes how you prevent future outbreaks. The article makes it seem like the first, but I suspect the publication has a perspective it is pushing (not a bad one, but perhaps not related to the cilantro outbreak).

I used to think the villain in Captain Planet was hyperbolic. I now know they were preparing us for the Trump administration.

But it’s functionally the same for an individual company - the fear at least.

All companies should live under the constant threat of unionization. Tech is no exception.
Sounds like it was a “lunge”, which I believe falls more on the side of attack than confrontation. Do better NBC News.
