The best part is, the post doesn’t even contain em dashes, it’s just multiple minus signs (-- vs —)

Need to update my install first :D I think I installed it as LXC and not as docker, so can’t do a simple pull^^
Will report back tho!

Tried it a few times but apparently my phone transmits so spotty location data that reitti can’t use it properly… Tried two different apps I think…
Plus I don’t think I understand how to edit the tracks…
But regardless, good work!

Why can’t you just do a normal dist-upgrade with MX when it’s Debian based?
I have the same feeling regarding Debian and btrfs (or zfs). Would be a blast having either on Debian.
But on the other hand, I’ve been running Debian unstable for two years now (initially installed unstable for Star Citizen) and haven’t had major issues with it. But be warned, it being unstable you’re obviously only one update away from it being unstable :D

While I agree with you that they’re well seasoned and established I disagree a lot with them being easy to read. They have a lot of sub-scripts that they include willy-nilly over multiple levels.
Another thing I dislike about them is basically the same as with docker, that they all include everything in it. Like every container wants his own mariadb/postgres/whatever. It should be at least an option to use existing containers, I don’t need to run 5 psql servers… (I know that it had advantages too having everything separate but ehh). And then switching the software back to using the existing psql is more work then just not using the scripts at all…

Considering how often it’s mentioned on Lemmy that’s pretty hard tho…

I use it too. Used to use Trakt but that seems to go the enshittification route right now so I figured I might try yamtrack/floppy. Ended up using floppy cause it has file import from Trakt and not just the discontinued API.
For me it’s just a handy way to keep track of what tv shows I’ve watched and which ones I still intend to watch.
Honest, non-techie question: How is it an advantage? Given modern crypto isnt it more likely that a mitm didn’t crack the crypto but instead got somehow else in the middle and just can “ignore” certs renewals?
