Mostly agreed, but there are a thousand legitimate reasons to resign and that act shouldn’t remove them from their profession. Same with getting fired. Who hasn’t had an asshole boss or been fired unjustly (or at least known someone who was)?
We need to hold the police force who re-employs the asshole cops accountable. Sure, hire 'em! But if they step out of line just once, that force is getting sued into the ground.

I’m down for that and think it needs expanded. If I’m terminal, I want the choice to be used as an experiment, assuming the FDA finds the treatment somewhat viable.

He went to some quack in the Bahamas who mixed up snake oil from all his patient’s plasma, patients who later tested positive for AIDS. AIDS hit the public conscious right about when dad died. One wonders…
They can’t be too new or they wouldn’t be anywhere near human trials. Anyway, this is the sort of thing AI (machine learning?) excels at. Not getting excited until we see peer review, but the methodology seems sound (to me, an armchair biologist).
Colloquially they’re the same, but wouldn’t this sort of thing more fall under machine learning? I’ve never been clear on the difference.
