I heard about that. Seems like the case would be thrown out but I didn’t follow up on what happened.

You think spending a little more money and being sluggish at work is just as bad as your wife leaving you, losing your job, and your teeth falling out? Good job reinforcing my point.

“Well meth clearly isn’t working out because my wife left me and I lost my job and my teeth are falling out, but obviously I can’t go back to just alcohol because alcohol is expensive and it makes me sluggish at work. I don’t know which is worse!” - you, probably
Idk, I’m sure there’s a better analogy out there but you get the point.
I logged in last night and didn’t see anything about verification. Still, I’m going to start looking for alternatives.

I’m morbidly curious to watch a little bit but I don’t want to become dumber than I already am

It could be tricky to get the bag over it if it’s windy, you would need something on the end of your stick to hold the bag open.

You could also add some sort of adhesive to make it so the protective cover wouldn’t blow off from the wind. I mean, like, it would really be on there. Almost permanent, even.

Just confirmed and uninstalled it.
I don’t disagree, tell that to Cliff.
Yes it is. Not sure why you got a downvote.

“Nice.”
There’s a brilliant man who just gave a talk at Defcon who had previously given a talk at TED where he said we should ban all computers in school. 1 sec, I’ll get the link
Cliff Stoll! I highly recommend watching his Defcon talk as well. https://youtu.be/Gj8IA6xOpSk

Good to know, I should look into that.

Privacy .com has an app that I think has similar functionality but I haven’t used it. Last time I checked you have to get the non-free subscription of privacy .com, which I’ve been thinking about doing. Privacy .com enables you to create virtual credit cards so you can purchase things semi-anonymously. I’m using GrapheneOS which I think doesn’t allow you to use any sort of NFC payments.
Hell yeah. I somewhat recently bought a refurbished T490 and it’s one of my favorite computers I’ve ever owned.
Yeah that’s definitely something I’m trying to avoid
