Just one thing that could be easy to forget. Power usage. Cost adds up as the hours and days pass :)

tell me more, please

That’s really great! 👌🏻

At least there will be less Roblox - Fortnite is the lesser evil 😅

My kid’s playing with his friends is more important to me than my principles on software 😊

thnks 😊

Ahh, almost forgot about that one.

True, but haven’t used Windows for quite a while. Got several computers and licenses, and I know I got at least 2 pro licenses, but Microslop insisted I only have home. (got 2-3 home licenses too). I can’t figure out which key is which, which ones are stored in my account (where can I check this?). Stored the original Win10 keys, but think they changed when upgraded to 11 - dunno how to solve that. Would be nice with a page that lists all licenses for my user, also somewhere I can check my 10 keys and get info on which are upgraded to 11 and what the new keys are. 😅

Thanks for lots of suggestions here, some helpfull and some not so helpfull. Allthough impressed on the number of helpfull posts actually. Got home installed now, pro doesn’t really matter for my son playing Fortnite. All good 🥳 … well, except that I now have a Windows machine on my network 😆

didn’t work for me. I think there’s a limitation on downgrading, up goes fine😅, on downloaded iso vs other media.

true, thnx

is what it is. Not much one can do wrong with the windows gui installer 😅 Even had to install twice (selected pro, had home. that required a reinstall… microslop) it asked both times for me to load the driver from external media (windows didn’t detect the wifi card). installed from fresh win11 iso downloaded from ms today.

thanks for suggestion, but think that get me banned because anticheat detects it.😢

good idea, vland 👌🏻

I don’t borrow GOG games. I buy those.

Going to try this :) thnx

Why is the US pure evil? … they have become 10x the cliche 80’s supervillain. Where is our hero?

Omarchy is too close to oligarchy. Pass.

If you are sailing the seas gamewise 🏴‍☠️, Bottles does decent job finding and warning you with it’s Analyse feature :)

Don’t worry, in absolute numbers the risk is 3,93 % compared to 3,16 % for non-users (5year). Just looking at the raw percent in the article make it seem like it gives you a 33% risk - hate articles like that.

the nightmare state is already created, they are just dimming the last remaining lights
