Any president, and really anyone who can afford it, can bring these kinds of baseless slapp suits. Donald Trump is just incapable of taking any level of criticism and was born rich so he’s spent his entire life suing anybody with reach that has ever said something unfavorable about him.

Enough people and organizations have folded to his legal threats that he just keeps doing it. Not because he’s right, but because it’s more cost effective to just give in than it is to fight him in court.
