Before this oligarchy, it was a plutocracy at best. Companies run EVERYTHING, and they have spent the last 80 years undoing every drop of the New Deal (which is still capitalism), because even that is too progressive for them.

You can’t vote in change to an empire that overthrows foreign governments, oppresses its own populous, and destroys the environment. And the worst part, citizens united is just the cherry on top. It made things way worse, but we wouldn’t magically live in a utopic democracy if citizens united was overturned tomorrow.

He’s the classic tough guy that a lot of young POC look up to unfortunately. He’s definitely not your “normal” slimy Republican stereotype, but Trump has cast quite the wide net of fascism and conservativism. A lot of people who would have never called themselves outright Republicans or conservatives (often call themselves not political 🤦), now are happy to join this fascist circus.

Sometimes I think he hates his supporters more than progressives, leftists, unionists, and bipoc people.

Organizing, community structuring, mutual aid, decentralizing, educating are all completely necessary alongside it. Honestly, often in replacement of the complete failure our system is.

And I know I’m about to be accused of being a anti-voting shill who has been recruited right before midterms. I’m not, I do vote (very intentionally and informed) every election, but I think we need to do SOOO much more.

Or we can move past the American Empire which has protected the Epstein class, and not just protected but bent over backwards for. Which has raped the world of its resources, poisoned its own citizens by way of greed, and enslaved the global south (but also the North too, just slightly less hard). We can move past a white supremacist, capital worshipping society intent of backing up its INCREDIBLY short sighted goals and obsession for the status quo, with the largest military the world has seen.

I can keep going, but I hope you get the point.

We can dream, explore, imagine, and wade through the muck of this dying and deadly system, to make something new that works for us all. We need to, it’s not an option. The return to “normalcy” that you paint out is far less intolerable for him (even in a jail cell), than it is for the working class, the dying species, the collapsing oceans, and the generations not born yet.

I don’t know about other people but I’m shooting for a world way past a return to imperial neoliberalism, which ironically wouldn’t even last long with the collapsing environment and societies around us.

Tim Walz is still an establishment dem. The state pigs have aided ICE many times, pushed back protesters, arrested protesters, and all around just acted buddy buddy with ICE.

See this is my issue with privacy ROMS is that they’re not always built alongside pro-consumer, right to repair friendly hardware. They’re often built for flagship phones, which has its advantages, but leaves the hardware experience locked down.

I really am so excited for functioning Linux phones. I LOVE GrapheneOS, but mobile Linux is being built around those ease of repair and tinkering phones more often .
