I don’t think they are comparable. Discord is built around communities (servers) with text and voice chats in one place, while Matrix is more about personal and group text chats. Spaces do exist in Matrix but they are not so convenient and there are no voice chats. I’d prefer Matrix for personal communication and Discord-like platforms for big thematic communities.
Just tried out their official Android app. Doesn’t seem vibe-coded at all. Very stable and high guality experience. Also the project began in 2023 (or even earlier) when LLMs were arguably still to weak for writing functional code, so at least it didn’t start as a vibe-coded project.

Tag and ‘[AI]’ in title if not ban. But would very much like it if such posts were simply banned. I don’t think the community would loose any value.

3·27 days agoWhy do shorts loop in the first place? What might be any actual use of that feature? Are there people who like rewatching the same 15 seconds shit over and over again?
How much is it safe? I may be just paranoid, but I’ve always been suspicious of all these activators.

3·1 month agoWhich one would you recommend flashing, crDroid or Lineage? People say, crDroid is more feature-rich but also less stable, so I’m hesitant.

Linux Mint. It was specifically created for this use case. It just works. That’s it.
