I think most people agree. These fascists aren’t being criticized for their software contributions. They are being criticized for being fascists.

Ignoring fascists and hoping they go away is one reason why fascism is having a resurgence right now. Immoral behavior should be challenged as widely and publicly as necessary to make everyone aware that it’s inappropriate. People don’t stop doing immoral things unless there are social consequences for it.

Most (maybe all?) of these items listed in the settings page for private spaces are differences from a work profile.

I definitely require my work profile apps to be able to run in the background at times, so a private space is not going to cut it, unfortunately.
The person posted the same thing in multiple communities and got very little feedback aside from a bunch of downvotes. I was trying to help them by explaining why their approach is getting a bad response. I apologize for coming off like an asshole, that wasn’t my goal at all.
It sounds like you just need to go do some simple searches in the app stores for icon packs that you like. What exactly do you need help with?
I’m guessing all the downvotes are because nobody wants to be your search agent, and the way you’ve phrased this makes it sound like you’ve put very little effort into finding things for yourself.

My partner and I live separately, and we use Colota (F-Droid link) to send location data to our individual self-hosted Home Assistant instances.
Our Home Assistant instances are linked together which lets us share our locations with each other.
This might be a bit much to set up just for location sharing, but if you’re using home automation anyway, it’s nice to have it all tied together.

This can be a great idea, if it’s done well. For example, the StreetComplete app has achievements to encourage contributions to the OpenStreetMaps project:

It’s not necessary for LibreOffice to fully replicate every nuance of MS Office to be valuable to people who aren’t just those who “would be Linux users anyhow.”
Especially for the light users of MS Office, which are the vast majority. They just need something to create Aunt Bobbie’s birthday invitation, and they won’t care at all whether that thing is MS Office or LibreOffice.
As an anecdote, I’m the IT person at my job. I quietly removed MS Office from a shared PC used by dozens of people. I installed LibreOffice instead, and selected the ribbon UI option. Months later now, and literally nobody has complained or even remarked on it, despite using it every day for their document work. There has not yet been a single instance of anyone contacting me for tech support about it.
