An election is (almost) always damage control, it’s lunatic to think a party/person will do everything that you stand for… I have never voted for a party because I like them, or I support all their positions in europe…

You can get active politically through whatever means, but at the same time you need to avoid the worst.

but I feel you, for my own sanity, i would probably also try to disconnect a little bit of the politics in the USA, it’s also a bit demotivating/depressing in europe (Not as bad as in the USA yet, but we are on the track of that), with the rise of right-wing parties, like, why don’t those people see what they are actually trying to elect, how don’t they see how much they are propaganda-ized by fossil-fueled companies and capitalists, voting against their own interests??
