I installed from F-Droid.
I was seeing the pentagram logo with “upgrade” and a nag screen instead of the actual cleaning step, after scanning.
It turns out I’m a dummy who was backing out of the donation website after it loaded but before it could set the flag in the app telling it that I at least looked at the donation page.
Is it just me, or does SD Maid not do anything it advertises unless you pay?
Thanks! It played BAttERY Face Factory The Sims Edition NoCD, immediately recognized as Commando theme by Rob Hubbard on C64.
Most installers wouldn’t care if the disc got temporarily ejected but you risked AutoRun opening another instance of the installer, bringing your PC to its knees. XD
n00bs used “nocd”.
I loved when the keygens had MIDI prog/metal. Back then, that reminded me of cracktros on C64 games.
FWIW, the US has been bombing Somalia for years as well, targeting al-Shabaab and Islamic State. You don’t hear about it because it’s old news.
US air strikes on Somalia, per The Guardian:
Trump (first term): 219
Biden: 51
Trump (second term, so far): 190
Scrib is excellent, bit I’ll check this out, too.
Thanks!
Edge Plus 2022 didn’t even have the curved edge, LOL. I don’t understand the marketing but it was also great. 512GB, baby!
I wasn’t even trying to copy, just trying to connect a DVD player to my RF-cable-jack-only TV.
DVD player -> AV cables -> VCR -> coaxial cable -> TV.
Nope! Not allowed! It’s 2001 and we’re already screaming loud and clear that pirate copies are superior because they just work.
I ended up getting a Voodoo3 3500 TV on clearance sale, and playing movies on the TV through that.
I think only Rick Rubin can ever reach 1300kbps in a FLAC from CD; listen to System of a Down self-titled album. It barely compresses!
Well-mastered classical and 1980s albums can average ~700kbps. IIRC, using default FLAC compression level 5.
Wow. Top Ten Incels of Lemmy are all here, and I know I’m not even seeing all of the comments because some are already blocked.
