I had to work with keepass and the Firefox for I’m using to have them speak together correctly. From memory it had to do with an incorrect directory / socket being used.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Tailscale releases Tailcat, describing it as "Tailscale without Tailscale, by Tailscale"
2·22 days agoNice, thanks for the info.
I’ll give it another go hopefully on my one day off over this long weekend 😅
Having less reliance on major tech providers is something I’m slowly moving towards, probably like lots of us here.

1·23 days agoHeadscale any easier to config nowadays?
I’d tried running it ages ago, but I was very new to Linux, and nixos as a whole. Eventually gave up and just ran tailscale for ease of use.

2·1 month agoNar the Yale / Lockwood deadlatch can be locked from the inside with a physical key. However the outside does not have a keyway, so entry is by an NFC tag, pin or via the app or home assistant.
Might? Be what your chasing.
Think Bunnings stock the black one while JB have the silver.
Comes stock with a BT module, but you can purchase a Zigbee module for an exorbitant $70+
Edit: its not as you cannot latch it from the outside, believe there is an option in their app to do such but it doesn’t function for me / isnt supported on mine.

Man gonna have to test that on my spare laptop. Quite interested to see how development progresses.
