It’s a mechanical issue of the quality of the plug
At very least the Lenovo for a year or two around the time of the t480 and t490. Early USB C laptops requiring USB c charging really wasn’t rated properly for the constant plugging/unplugging.
Gentle on disconnect. Im using a 90 bend connector that is permanently on the remaining USB c connector.
If that fails too, will just spend a couple hundred and buy another Lenovo laptop. No huhu
Gentoo is great. I can configure it exactly the way I want. I switched to it after redhat went enterprise and never looked back. Stage 1 install.
However, sometimes packages get out of sync an I have build problems that need to be diagnosed.
Sometimes some packages get deprecated & I have to redo my configuration.
Deprecating python 2.7 was especially fun.
Back in the day, manual config of x11 was needed and that was fun. Back in the redhat days, the x11 configuration was in multiple places which was confusing.
Sound still is erratic after the laptop goes to sleep.
I did a manual transition from X to Wayland and that took a bit of learning.
Be careful of USB C ports. They are unreliable but absolutely required to charge.

AR15 shoots 223 which is a small cartridge, egal to use in some states because it is underpowered.

True, AR15 is less likely to be used to fight tyranny. For that, the award goes to the AK47.

Pistol ranges largely indoors with running water.
Rifle ranges largely rural outdoors. No running water.
