I find this exceptionally upsetting.

You can learn about Linux and computers without having to compile everything. I’m sure Gentoo is important but your answer is negligent. Does using Fedora make me less knowledgeable? This assume if I do not HAVE to compile then I must be too dumb to learn Linux by reading voluntarily.

So much blank space on the screen though

Thank you for reminding me that interacting with online users is a waste of time.

They’re wildly unprofessional with no decorum, providing me zero ability to trust them unlike most other FOSS

I also disagree being unhappy and picking fights is the point. Their creator stepped down for a reason.

Graphene’s team is never happy. If no one picked a fight with them they would find one.

That links does nothing to call Nix fascist btw.

Is it slopified? It seems good!

If you internet archive his blog you will find it’s surprisingly full of Catholic hate. Rather disconnected from the identity he is portraying currently via YouTube.

Is that the coffee guy?

What do you mean by religious nut? Do you mean hateful or simply religious? Implying the latter isn’t okay dawg.

It does seem a high percentage of older tech workers and creators are super religious to the point of harming others. Another example being Jeff

Edit: downvoting me because I don’t stand for hate against people with a religion is super cringe

Alternative post, it’s sad that I have to remember when to keep up with people since most people I know don’t reach out at all!

You say linux three times in your post on a linux com, bruh

One are you a researcher or just Wikipedia-ing things? Two again you’ve provided no examples of how Linux makes this better in any way. Three you just have a computer addiction and are blaming it on an OS

Researching what? Engaging what? What aspect of this has to do with Linux?

Why’re you wording this as if the act of using Linux is what’s addictive? Lol

So you could say it’s a pain… lol, what I just said

Honestly running anything that isn’t Synology made on their devices is a pain. Also, without knowing how old the device is, it’s also a challenge to make a recommendation. As the other user replied Jellyfin is a good one, can run music, movies and tv, and home media too.

Stash is also a good one for grandpa

So as in slop?

In his most recent video he complains that switching to GIMP was too difficult
