7·30 days agoIt’s great to see actual examples shown in their videos, like the
exiftooloutput. I really appreciate how well they integrate and present info, like the editor note being shown on the simulated Mac screen.
It’s disappointing to see only one reply (so far) challenging your request. Why do you want a unique distro for day to day?
I’ve used a variety of unique distros simply to explore them, or for specific purposes which the OS uniquely fills. And it’s great that some non-unique OSs have workflows that change the ways a new user may be familiar with (e.g. tiling window managers). But I’ve ultimately had a great time picking a stable, popular daily driver and creatively customizing it to look and act unique and personalized.
Oh, am I that far gone?

I don’t see Qubes, Whonix or Tails on there.
I’m annoyed that a lot of the sites I browse don’t have RSS feeds, and I’ve had to do some really tiresome hacks just to get some to work (for example, even tools like FreshRSS’s HTML parser doesn’t tell you the reason a feed broke, so there’s a dozen different things to adjust blindly until it works).
RSS saves me so much time, I used to waste hours just cycling through pages to see if any updated.

I assumed (without evidence) the resin would tend to level out rather than retain those layer lines, but I suppose the viscosity might affect that and I don’t know how viscous the once I’m looking at is.
