Omarchy has been put in my face already regardless of my not needing to hear about it, and given the echo magnification structure of our media system, that horse has left the barn. If I have to hear about it, I want the majority of times I hear about it to be echoing what a piece of shit it and its creator are.

Why just email one? It would be nice if they gave you a comma separated list of them all…

I’m not up on the latest, but my impression is that the fingerprinting techniques are really hard to combat.

Fingerprinting.

I just married someone with a subscription.

I think ram and cpu are the same on 7,7a, and 7pro. It’s just camera, battery, screen, and misc that differ I think.

FWIW, am using a pixel 7 pro, and don’t feel any need for higher specs. Though I’m not doing any kind of demanding gaming.

When I switched over from windows many years ago the single click to open was the default. I adapted to it very quickly and almost immediately preferred it.
At some point KDE decided to make double click to open the default because they thought users coming from windows would have a hard time learning single click. Personally I think that was a mistake, and urge you to give it a try.

Possibly you need to restart dolphin or even log out and back in for a change to this to take effect.

The single vs double click setting is actually not in dolphin config but in plasma settings, general behavior. Not sure if something else in there might influence the behavior you are getting.

Actually, left clicking opens for me it doesn’t select. Are you using the double click to open setting?
In my single click to open scenario, I either select by clicking on the plus that appears on the icon on hover, or by clicking and dragging to create a select box (which also requires covering the name, not just empty space).
In configure dolphin->view->details there is a radio button choice between opening files by clicking anywhere on the row or clicking on icon or name. I tried changing it to anywhere but this did not appear to work, I still need to couch in the name.

For me, left clicking on the empty space doesn’t select it. So there must be settings around this stuff.

How are cassette tapes organized? That phrase doesn’t convey anything to me…

“They asked for my password. They didn’t specify which password.”

Just one quibble:
The only reason to make a dishwasher that refuses a rival’s dishes is if the manufacturer’s own dishes are ugly, expensive, and/or badly made
No, greed is reason enough. If they think they can get away with it, they would do that whether the dishes are good or bad, just to maximize how much money they can squeeze out of their customers.

Yes, we should never be for a thing we ourselves do not directly do. Presumably you are running for mayor or governor like you said this guy could do.

The wording really doesn’t make sense. I interpreted that sentence as sloppy wording intending to mean "even if they didn’t have the privacy issues I’m not sure they’d be the future the future of wearables. "
The only way I can imagine the data giving away trade secrets is if this is a dump of the whole database for the Springshot system including database schema information, rather than an export of some more specific data considered to belong to the airline.
If so, is there no established legality around that? If you buy a software system and install it on your server, do you have the right to share the database schema just because you can access it and it contains your data?
If that’s not the situation, how exactly would the data give away Springshot proprietary information?
To give an analogy, if I bought an email server that used a database, I’d expect to be able to export all email messages from it, but I wouldn’t expect to be able to share their database schema (even in the form of a data dump whose format simply revealed the shape of the schema) but I really don’t know the legality of that. It’s a scenario that’s been around forever though, so I’d expect there to be settled legal precedent already.
