Oyy lad, its time for more sailing and shanties.

Actually i was using linux for years but had to switch to windows for research analysis software purpose. In that i used to have adb to remove google and other bloatware applications. Though its not permanent atleast they don’t run either. Right In the windows too i have installed the adb. If so like you are saying that we can unlock bootloader without xiaomi then it really great thing. But i hope I don’t brick my phone in the process, though its old phone i still use to avoid overuse of my current phone.

I wanted to unlock bootloader in my redmi note 7 pro so that i can boot lineage os. But to unlock it i need to use miui account and xiaomi unlock tool application in pc. So in that process my device should be recognized by the application while its in fastboot but the application doesn’t detect it. Yet the laptop detected my phone but not the application did not. That’s the problem here. Got it? Just like the xy problem.

Oh damn, haha i lost the tiny bit of positivity in me.

I think i should look into that part. I actually used usb type c port but i tried with usual usb port too. But the result were same, may be this time i will try to share if anything weng alright.

Thanks for sharing, this may come in handy.

Since im not familiar with python scripts i couldn’t dare, but only rely on official line. I see two other comments mentioned on drivers may be i should give a shot after fixing it.

I think they might not have stopped completely, but it seems they let very few devices to unlock like 10 per day. But if that’s the case, then they give no choice but to show a freshly roll out middle finger.

Sounds odd, but will give it a try too. Thanks for the device.

Geralt, who do you wish to impress with this… The Red green or the Black purple.
Sure, I’ll will visit it. Thanks btw.
