Says it all, really:

An Associated Press analysis in July found that Trump had approved more than three-quarters of the requests from states that voted for him in the 2024 election but less than half the requests from states that did not.

Trump may be personally immune from prosecution, but no one underneath him is. Anyone flouting the judge’s order to restore access could be held in contempt, potentially all the way down to whoever is physically blocking them at the entrance. So let’s not say there’s nothing that can be done.

Edit: I should also mention that as of this edit, it appears that access has been restored by the White House.

Oh look, it’s happening again.

1. Trump spouts bullshit
2. Trump demands toadies act on his bullshit
3. Reality fails to comform to said bullshit
4. Trump throws a tantrum and blames the toady
5. Trump fires toady and brings in an even toadier toady

And then, what? They sit there and quietly starve to death?

Not surprising, and a good move by Hearn’s attorneys. The Trump DOJ has already established a terrible track record for improperly presenting cases to grand juries, and given how much of a reach even charging this guy is, I would almost expect the DOJ attorneys involved to have ‘finessed’ the grand jury presentation to secure an indictment on such thin evidence.
