I’ll agree it was excellent design for that screen.
For my brain, on the tall Android screen of today, I dislike it.
But OP does like it.

8 watts. That’s Pi territory.

If you keep any of your backup files locally, you could use ST to sync them over to her.
But yea, sync is NOT backup (I realize you know, more of just like to say this whenever ST is mentioned, and I use ST extensively).

Frequently.
I know because my self-hosted systems alert me when it happens.

Oh, daaamn. Haha
Why’d you have to go sharing that with us? Now I know what’s going to happen with my money…
Good lord, I have TWO of those that used to be gaming rigs.
Just waiting till I can afford a low power motherboard so I can use all the drives I have sitting around.
At one time one of them had ten drives in it… Talk about heavy!

It’s about trusting the source/sharer.
My friends and family trust me, so trust links I send.
And people currently use public link shortened, this is at least an order of magnitude (or more) better than sharing our data with those people.

Wow.
Amazes me how absurd that is.

I dunno, businesses have done it for decades.
Intregrating it with HA and keeping control totally on our own systems sounds convenient.
Not an Xperia owner, but I haven’t bought a phone through my carrier since 2010.

That was never said - that’s in your head, and you made a strawman of it.

I’ve been surprised at the old stuff my local library has.
Totally looks like a thermostat or thermometer ring, especially with how the inner end is bent to hook onto a post.

The really boned people are SMB.
They don’t have the finances to spend on switching to Proxmox or XCP, but the VMware licensing is killing them.
May as well pay for hardware as VMware licensing.

Well you said cloud - cloud to most of us here doesn’t mean on your systems, but a “cloud” of systems - i.e. not controlled by you.

Ah, yes, you like shit to break and have no ability to manage systems.
Yawn
