I stumbled upon a mountain lake with hundreds of rock campfire pits nearby. Just one other guy there. It was breathtaking. I don’t know how people manage to get lost in this country. I tried pretty hard.

It isn’t easy to overcome the desire to live, especially when death chosen is going to be terrifying agony. Jumping overboard is a terrible way to go.
