Oh come on now, it isn’t all bad! We tried self policing for farmers here in Denmark, and now our oceans are dead, because of a practically unregulated amount of fertilizer being dumped in our streams and rivers. Makes sense to at least get input from the industry owners. Just because he lets them speak, doesn’t mean he has to do what they want.

If you were to make big changes that will affect a bunch of companies, having a dialog with them is essential to make sure the workers still have a job afterwards. This doesn’t mean the company gets to dictate what happens, but giving them a heads up, letting them give their point of view in the discussuon, doesn’t seem like a bad thing, as long as he is as critical of their intentions as he has been so far.

Watching from the outside, I’ve never doubted they would. USA has always been so disgustingly patriotic, to the point of ignoring everything bad about the country in order to fuel their imagined self image as “The Greatest Country In The World”. It was always going to be like this, when most of the country is that brainwashed and ignorant.

I use Emby. It’s set up so I can use it when I’m on vacation through a domain.

I mostly use Emby because I can get their app on my tv. It just seems easier than whatever Jellyfin has.

On my Emby server I can make accounts, give those accounts passwords or reset the passwords. People can also choose a 4 number pin so they don’t have to write a password whenever they need to login.
