I’m having the same problem. I just had to switch recently because I can’t get tpb. In Australia.

What’s funny is, if piracy is removed as an option, collectively we would all focus on the stranglehold movie production companies have, and break it up, to essentially produce the same effect. Utilising and focusing all that technical skills and ability to how do we cause things to change. By upping their game, they’re shooting themselves in the foot.

I had thought quite common. I know I was at every step of the way. Started with vhs way back in the day. I was just a kid, probably 10 or 11. Dad used to bring home pirated bootleg bloopers a mate had given him, or something. But I just figured out how to do it, at every stage for myself, because I loved rewatching my favourite movies over and over. I didn’t think it was ever hard, or expensive. I just asked the guys at the local electronics store, if I got stuck. They helped me figure out how to bypass the copywrite protection on vhs tapes.
That is another reason to avoid it, at least for now. If you don’t watch it, you don’t talk about it, you don’t give them free advertising. Piracy evokes demand in many ways. It will still be around in 20 years when no one is looking, anymore.
