Well, don’t take it personal. Like, it’s downvote, who cares.

I think people are wary of potential paid shilling. They’re pushing a specific brand unprompted. The title is click-baity. The statements sound like they were pulled from ad-copy (“signing up was super easy”). People likely aren’t getting to the MicroG part, but even that felt like a “hey, psst, if you don’t like Google, MicroG works.” I.e. it’s a downside that really isn’t a downside…
Honestly, even reading OP’s responses it’s tough to tell if this isn’t going to result in someone saying, “looks cool, how do I sign up?” and then OP swooping in with a “here’s a link that gives us both $10 back when you make your first cross-currency transaction!”
Just to note, I didn’t downvote, I’m just answering why alarm bells might be getting triggered. It could very well be that OP really just liked their Wise experience and wanted people to know, and has no ulterior motive in posting this. Unfortunately, that’s often not the case, and now we’re all skittish.

Also, he has encouraged people in foreign countries to buy from anyone except the US, reducing US exports.

I don’t know why people are downvoting you. I stopped using my friend’s server when I realized he was watching everything we were doing. Really weirded me out.

I watched his video and I wasn’t totally convinced that it’s better than tree supports. One example he showed used more filament and still left significant marks. Maybe the design can get some refinement once more people get their hands on it.
I looked forward to trying it out when I get a chance though, and hearing what other people think.

Yup, I just found an article that says it releases next day on Hulu (and other streaming sites).
I guess a more popular show might get enough attention to record it as it airs to get it released first, but with a less popular show the scene is just going to wait for the streaming version. (And maybe more popular shows aren’t on network TV and release on streaming platforms immediately anyway.)
Thanks for the discussion and info.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was wondering about. And yeah, the Edith ones coming out at 5am Eastern is exactly what I’ve been seeing.
I know jeopardy masters isn’t super popular but the consistency of the release timing and how late it was had me wondering how it worked.
The funny thing is that regular (syndicated) episodes of jeopardy (not the Masters primetime special) often start showing up on YouTube up to 8 hours before airing in the US and Canada.

I heard it will work the same as Gulf of Mexico.
Americans see Gulf of Mexico as “Gulf of America”.
Mexicans see it as “Gulf of Mexico”.
Everyone else sees it as “Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)”.
Americans will see Lake Ontario as “Lake America”.
Canadians will see it as “Lake Ontario”.

You could always let provider voicemail take over. Or, you know, miss a call.
