2·2 days agoYeah I recently used duckai to trouble shoot a speaker issue on my laptop running guix and was able to solve the issue. It gave me commands to run and pasted the output back to it to get the next step. I don’t know how long it would have taken me to figure it out if I hadn’t used it.

This is so fucked up. The events suggest she was being survielled so the attackers knew her routine. It follows they intentionally damaged the sign knowing she would go out in the middle of the night to fix it (she said herself it was a routine). Also they picked a sign that wasn’t near a camera.
Not only are they rapists, they’re terrorists (because it’s pollitically motivated). Are there more people insthe group? Are they being funded? Who’s giving them money?
What’s really fucked up, is that the FBI should investigate this, but they won’t because they, like other parts of the government are compromised (by MAGA).
IDK which it was but I texted the number and asked senator cotton to address the bill.
IDGAF anymore. Repubs don’t do shit so they need a little extra prodding.
Next step, thousands of people should show up at his house on a sunday afternoon during the football game to ask for progress on that bill.

2·1 month agoGreat writeup! I discovered guix a few yearssago and it’s become my preferred OS. I first installed it on my desktop and then my two laptops.
The declaritive system config is a game changer. I like it so much I would never go back to a distro that doesn’t support it. The rollback feature has saved my @$$ a few times.
I haven’t done any yet but I want to try packaging some software for guix. I think that’s it’s biggest downside, some packages not being availible on any channels forcing users to install via nix, flathub, or something else. In my experience it can add a bit of friction.
