I’m on graphene and see it. Your device may not support HDR.
I will have to look into this. Thanks
Hmm looks like that’s a filter option, not an actual backlight control. Probably would work well if I was OLED, but alas I’m not.

2·15 days agoYea, I’ve recently learned LineageOS has an AndroidTV version that runs on a lot of devices, including the Pi. Been considering investigating that.

1·17 days agoVery true. I do have a let’s encrypt wildcard cert that I also use with internal IPs for instances like this. But most of my items don’t require that.

1·18 days agoIt is surprisingly easy to add a custom CA to phones and laptops. When I migrated to services using one with names like
thisservice.lanI thought it would be a lot harder. I just have a generation script that makes a new cert and I throw it in NGINX.

2·26 days agoWoa, fun to see this on Lemmy. I’ve got an IETF draft out and am working with some people on an option to solve this (including a major cookie banner provider).

2·26 days agoIt’s a Rackmate T2. I printed the parts in ASA, which is very heat resistant, and it’s held up for a long time against all the hot equipment. It’s also pretty thin on the HD sled holders, still doesn’t sag or budge.
I should probably make these models public at some point.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Omarchy should not matter. But sadly it does. As a power grab.
1·26 days agoYes. I used Windows for many years. Now I don’t. FOSS is community.

3·26 days agoHah, yea I used a pre made box to cover off on safety in the lazy way. Using one of these boards inside it: https://a.co/d/08aDId5p
Most of my custom work was on the front so I could fit multiple mini PCs side by side. Everything designed in FreeCAD with color coded cables per machine 😀

Edit: ignore the circle. Apparently this photo was used to tell my partner what to unplug during some testing.

4·27 days agoThis looks great! Any thought on relay control? I built an 8 outlet box with relays inside so I can direct control power to each server with a Raspberry Pi. It runs PiKVM and is also attached to an 8 port KVM for control.

Maybe a dumb question, but is… a zine just a blog entry?
