I don’t think LG does that, however you should make sure the Wi-Fi switch is off (don’t just click forget) and if you’re paranoid, you can physically remove the Wi-Fi board.

That streambox is just HDMI so it will work perfecrly with the LG’s Wi-Fi off.

Turn off the Wi-Fi in the settings on the LG. The antenna will still work.

Check the settings of the Tubi app. You will still see a lot of requests to load the ads even if they are not personalised anymore.

You can fix it by disconnecting the internet and plugging in your own devices.

Disconnect it from the internet and use your own box or stick.

Yes they have. It’s also very late to security updates and is mostly just Lineage plus their own cloud services.
It probably is rotating the fingerprint. Have you tried it in Chrome?
Are you using a browser which rotates the fingerprint like Brave?

They say it’s to stop scraper bots, but they would have better success replacing a check that can be bypassed by disabling javascript with actual bot detection. Cap looks like a good option and Turnstile is included in Clouflare.

iOS is a walled garden because they do everything they can to block third party app stores, and the “activation” process allows Apple to remotely brick your phone at any time. Immutable Linux distros don’t have these issues.

It protects against system breakage and malware because the core of the OS is sealed and updates can only fully complete or fully fail, you can’t have a half-uodated system like Ubuntu would be if you unplugged the PC half way through.
And because your apps and commandline tools are sandboxed with Flatpak and toolbox/distrobox so malware getting in through one doesn’t compromise the whole system.
It scanned for other devices on the currently connected Wi-Fi network.
