My son is an avid watcher of my jellyfin, and that’s more than enough for me to feel it’s worth all the effort I’ve put in it. He even asks me sometimes to add this show or that movie and I freaking love it.

Thankfully Mozilla allows disabling this new atrocious theme. Holy shit, is it ugly!

That’s a restaurant near me and they make the best fucking pancakes in existence.

I am surprised that any nation would adopt a closed source product from abroad when it could build its own, especially given Linux. In a world like this, choosing that path seems genuinely diabolical.

Well, that’s nice of them to not just hide it forever. Hopefully someone will pick it up.
Yup. Just this time. I had to. First one was my first ever pc build. I gave it to my son. Second one was killed by my basement’s ungrounded electric. PC CPU died and motherboard. Thankfully saved the GPU. After grounding the basement, I had to kind of build a new PC where I replaced pretty much everything beside GPU. It was from an AMD AM4 to an Intel Ultra Core 270 Plus motherboard.
I usually keep things for too long, but these were all forced on me. lol

Used Manjaro, Endeavour and now on cachy. Manjaro delayed their updates for too long for me to the point that it didn’t even feel like it was based on Arch.
Endeavour broke to no return out of nowhere every 6 months or so. Have been running cachy closing on 3 years now and I won’t go anywhere. One SSD, one install that went through 3 computers.

Ok, you get a pass from my “or just use a damn normal lock” dad’s finger wagging 😂

I’ve been using Immich for a couple of years now, and I really like. Nextcloud is good, too.

It does, but all these companies are willing to hand out data to the government easily.

True, but how many of these companies don’t actually give that data to the government?

That won’t matter in the future. You’ll need to think of taking the future modem they’ll put there.

I know LG TVs can rooted, but I don’t know about Samsung. It actually won’t matter anymore until the government legislates something to make this shit illegal. All of this actually go against the 4th amendment in the US. I that LG has been talking about putting a little modem in their displays that gets its internet from the whole neighborhood’s routers after some deals with AT&T (I think). So then disconnecting the tv from your home network won’t matter.

My Samsung tv literally phones home and Netflix 24/7 even when it is off. My “Sniffet” app screams with nothing but Samsung and Netflix garbage URLs. So does my pi-hole. It’s insane how any of this is actually even legal.

But why, though?
Oh shit. Ok. Thank you for bringing that up. I only really use their official apps, but I’ll find another one to donate to.
Thank you for the reminder to donate to them <3

Is the custom launcher you use called “Projectivity”? That’s the one I use and it’s great.

A couple of years ago, I complained about not many options for PDF editing on Linux, now there are too many of them and I’m 100% ok with that. Thank you for this.
You said the forbidden word. How dare you!
