Ok, so one thing I’m terrible at is describing the taste of food, so I’ll try my best: it has more flavour than beef, but it’s delicate flavour and doesn’t taste gamey. It has a shitload of iron. In my experience the taste changes a lot depending on the cut, more than beef, but to be honest, the vast majority of the time I eat horse meat, it’s in the form of raw, ground meat.
