Reolink works wonderfully with Home Assistant, without app, without internet access, 100% local.

For Wireguard, I use WG Tunnel on Android which is available in F-Droid and provides some cool features that the original app doesn’t, like auto-tunnel to enable it automagically when you quit your wifi network

Or Klipper

LineageOS for MicroG has it too, and it works flawlessly.

It’s a French project, I guess it’s translated in French before English. Non-English speakers are used to seeing snippets of English in translated UIs but I understand the other way around is unusual

I’m genuinely terrified by those… Any solution to avoid them besides looking closely at everyone wearing glasses?

I know there are apps that try to detect them but I don’t want to leave Bluetooth enabled on my phone 24/7

The root partition ID is in the grub configuration, it’s mounted when the system boots. Then fstab is read and the other partitions are mounted.

fstab is needed for root mount options and other partitions, but as you saw with your system if the only partitions other than root are not needed to boot your system will boot fine (I don’t know which options grub uses when mounting root though)

The Piped kodi addon sometimes works, but it’s been so rare I found myself downloading videos and streaming them to Kodi over DLNA most of the time… Not perfect but it works

That’s what I like about OpenWrt, every update wipes everything but what’s explicitly configured. And the first update that doesn’t break anything is a rela satisfaction, meaning your whole configuration is contained in a few files listed somewhere

The web is a frightening place these days.

A few seconds after I stood up a public web server, there were bots scanning for .git and .env.

I got my 20th crowdsec alert for today while reading that… I don’t what’s happening but this week is not a good one

I think we should have a rule to allow this kind of post only with a small summary of the update. I like to see them but sometimes the changelog is not worth a post or at least I can save a click if I know it’s a small update with just some bugfix that doesn’t concern me.
