Seeing how terrified the white Christian Nationalists are of everybody else in the world, seeing graphically that they are a minority, would be upsetting. Must keep thinking that the USA is the biggest and best, regardless of all evidence.
Well the US has refused to hold him accountable for anything to date so why wouldn’t he?
The demise of the average American’s economic power wasn’t brought on by any of the outside Allies. It was completely designed and carried out by US CEOs to create and then enrich the billionaire class. It wasn’t a ‘nasty’ Canada or ‘helpless’ EU that caused the problem. It was a US government backed creation and building of the Oligarchs that has purposely destroyed American people’s wealth so a select few could become super rich and therefore politically powerful in the bought and paid for American ‘democracy’.
I think he’s trolling the American public. He knows darn well that it was vandalized - by him. And he knows that no one is going to do a damn thing about it.
Seems to me that quite a few under 40s voted for Trump last time around. Blaming Boomers when you are making the same mistakes yourself, isn’t helping anyone.
I don’t care about the pool either. It’s the throwing the DOJ at an innocent bystander that gets me. However after all these years, I think we can conclude that the Epstein files will never tank Trump. If the Repubs can’t take down Clinton with them, they truely do not care. Enough information has now been released to understand that Epstein was most likely a CIA/Mossad operation from the beginning so will be protected as a “national security” issue which means a US governments covert operation to blackmail influential people around the world to do their bidding. There isn’t a level low enough that the US won’t stoop to it to do their dirty work around the world. I remember when people were outraged by the Iran Contra deal and then it turned out to business as usual for the good old US of A.
More likely fucked as humans and as we disappear, the planet will heal itself or reinvent itself as it has in the past. That’s what the denialists don’t seem to understand: yes the planet has been warmer and colder and survived but the organisms living on the planet didn’t all survive. The fossil fuel promoters are all atheists and want to live it up in this lifetime, no one else, not even their descendants, matter to them.
Thankfully the Boomers and GenXs passed something worthwhile on to the younger generation.
I have a theory: people are living too long and not dying enough. That is making social programs too expensive for government. They need a way to have people dying off at younger ages and more quickly when disease presents as treatment is too expensive. The CDC is now in charge of lowering the average lifespan and having children go back to dying of many vaccine preventable diseases and more women dying in pregnancy & childbirth the n order to lower the cost of government commitments.
Want? I’d say American desparately NEED it.
In fairness, the US has been lagging since before Trump’s first term. He might be the worst of the lot but there hasn’t been a president for quite some time that actually moved the US forward.
