even the minimalist style shared by https://stallman-report.org/ and https://dmpwn.info/—heck, even the style of Time Cube (warning: better viewed on a phone)—would’ve been nicer than this.

To elaborate: Struggle sessions only refer to, of course, the 20th-century Chinese Communist denunciation rallies. Branding code-of-conduct enforcement with an explicit reference to communism and the emphasis on identity politics clearly asserts belief in the Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory.
communist
basically whatever the FSF/GNU makes. check out Guix if you can put up with learning a little Lisp.
there’s plenty of “friendly,” normal looking, and now probably AI generated, scam sites too
there’s way more non-friendly disinfo sites than those, the percentages
we, the ones who read and try to be vigilant of bad actors

Command is service
From “Hold the line”:
Omarchy is bringing that ethos back, and dropping the Code-of-Conduct struggle sessions and identity-overload nonsense that has plagued open source for far too long.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Audacity 4.0 beta lets you test its new (and much nicer) Qt interface
1·4 months agotenacity development looks somewhat moribund and lacks so many of audacity’s added features and fixes like pasting audio. tenacity’s release porting audacity’s added realtime effects, beats and measures view, and opus support has only been present in an alpha released eight months ago.

they did not fail:
they just weren’t as successful as the Harry Potter movies, and the second and third films had bad reviews (because they weren’t very good movies. but still, they had audience polls of B+)
