      Not disagreeing with OPs headline, but vegetables particularly leafy things are very prone to similar. Even if indirectly through fertilizers of something. In the last few weeks here in the US there was a pretty major recall for a similar bacteria. Seems to be one annuallt, but I’ll often go longer periods before I head about similar from meat. IMO the issue isn’t the product, but the process. We are so hyper focused on profits that shortcuts and risks are taken to increase bottom dollar. These often result in what we have been seeing here.

    They’re accelerating the spread of major foodborne diseases, generally, actually.

    It’s good to get the ball rolling on scientific research though.
