Voters in Arizona, Nebraska, Colorado and Washington will make their call on the issue, a change of strategy for anti-trans measures, which have been put on the books in 27 states through either legislation or state agency action.

“These four states are part of a larger set of five states that are facing anti-trans ballot measures this fall, and this will be the first year that voters are voting on anti-transgender policy at the ballot box directly. This is part of a broader and coordinated campaign targeting transgender people and their rights for many years now,” said Logan Casey, director of policy research at Movement Advancement Project.

Theres a lot more support for repealing the income “millionaire” tax from non conservatives mostly due to the fact that it sets the path for the current legislature to lower the tax threshold well below what it is now. Many of the supermajority have even shown support to the idea of lowering it.

It was really simple, they could have set a limit on how it could be lowered or they could have it on an inflation scale, but the legislature didn’t even take a vote on it.

That seems like a temporarily embarrassed millionaire point of view. It’s not a “millionaire” tax, it’s a tax on income above 1 million.

I’m all for it. Should set the level at $400k and up. Then use that funding for education, healthcare, and support for people that need it.

Then they should start taxing wealth. Then use the offset to reduce the tax burden on those that need it.

To be clear: fuck the rich.
