If House Democrats don’t use every tool at their disposal to name names, kick ass, and stop further destruction, there will be hell to pay with the base.
People need to put more emphasis on the funding thing when discussing this, Schumer and Jeffries basically lost the only thing they had to throw around. It’s entirely possible that if the Dems take the house and/or Senate either of them could be thrown from influence simply because the Congress critters don’t need to worry nearly as much about funding. Hell you could even see a situation where Schumer and/of Jeffries are pushed into supporting more progressive shit simply because the new blood can about them down without worry.
