    I’ve never tried running heating oil in a diesel engine, but it works the same as diesel in my Chinese diesel heater.

    My info is probably 30 years out of date back when Mercedes bros would run it to save money in highschool. The same guys were messing with veggie oil a few years later, which I much preferred.

      Oh yeah, back in the 90s before ULSD was a thing it’d be fine for sure… Older diesels would be fine with it but you might have issues with it in modern diesels expecting low sulfur and the other additives

        Yeah anything with DEF/urea I’m sure is stupid to mess with.

        I gave up on owning a diesel when the VW scandal hit. It was such a disappointment.
