    Millenials, who are at most 45 years old, should magically retire from the shitty world they grew up in. That’s ragebait because I can’t believe someone is so dumb to think like that.

      Also, yeah, retire 22 years early without enough money to live on in a system with almost zero safety nets (and cons trying to actively dismantle them), because someone just entered the workforce and found life has a lot of sharp edges.

      Well, as Gen X, I’ve been noticing quite a lot of this kind of ragebait in recent years. Most of it seems to be framed as coming from Gen Y, directed at boomers, but that’s not the only kind of ageism on the loose…

        Kinda weird though. After being ignored for decades. By generations before and after. We’re a problem now? Nice to be remembered I guess.

          I’m not sure we were exactly ignored. A lot of people that are younger lump us in with boomers (lol) and boomers would often lump us in with Gen Y…

      There are genuinely Gen Z types who believe that anyone born before the year 2000 is old. Their perceptions of age seem to be a lot stricter than previous generations.
