Vance will not end with it. He was chosen because he’s an unlikable little bitch that could not be used to supplant our dear leader
Trump isn’t sure he won’t be running is why…
It warms my heart that Vance and Rubio are considered the frontrunners. They’ve got the collective charisma of a semen-soaked sofa, which is to say that Rubio has none at all.
Wrong. Rubio has a lot of charisma. The issue with Rubio is he sold his soul for power and you can feel the ick imminating from him.
Now couchfucker has no charisma.
Vance has the stage presence of a wet paper bag. But Rubio has honed his craft since the 2016 water sipping days. He’s much better at flinging out the red meat in a way liberals blink past but reactionaries salivate over.
Rubio will be banging the “Liberate Cuba” drum for all he’s worth. Just like with Iran/Israel and China/Japan, half the Dems will clap when he announces plans for the next war.
Rubio is not going to get it either,. You know who would get it, who could take it, would be rfk, if it wasn’t for his voice impediment.
Rubio is not going to get it either,
He was a favorite among the billionaire class in 2016 and a close ally of the Bush neocon wing. Thiel loves him. Bezos loves him. The Ukraine Hawks love him. Israel Hawks love him. Neoliberals think he’s a guy they can do business with.
Look at his Senate confirmation vote. 99-0, with even Sanders showing up for him. If Trump implodes in 2026, he’ll quickly become the corporate approved replacement.
I’m not saying that means he’ll win. But absent a Trumpian figure in opposition, he’ll be the Bush/McCain/Romney style candidate that Republican insiders have historically loved.
I certainly agree that the establishment will soon over him, what I do not think is that the base will accept them. Not for long. Just as the current president seized control of the Party Machine based on there alternative reality they’ve been spinning, someone more ruthless and better at talking shit will get it. I guess the last part is the important part, well along with being connected and you know, having organized crime doing your bidding. And by organized crime, forget the Italian mafia they’re a bit player, we’re talking about the corporations and their contractors and Security Consultants here. Corporate Mafia so to speak. Much worse more reach.
I love that uncertainty for them.
I’m just glad that Trump not running anymore is out in the open now.
Reading abut the particularly disgusting court intrigues gave me nausea though.
And:
Mr. Trump compared Mr. Vance to Eliot Ness, the mob-busting federal agent, for working to ferret out fraud in mostly Democratic controlled states.
It’s a disgrace that partisan & paranoid shit like this goes for politics these days.
Trump is too mercurial to trust. He may not be looking at the 2028 election right now, and letting people stretch their imaginations and dream of running, etc., but we all know that he has no intention of leaving in 2028. He ain’t building that ballroom for the next guy, that’s HIS.
It will really become apparent after the Midterms, when Dems start announcing their candidacies, and everybody looks at the MAGAs and ask who intends to run. There will be a lot of hemming and hawing, because nobody will want to be the first to say they want Trump out, because he’ll see it as a betrayal. If anyone does announce, he’ll attack them for being dumb enough to think they have a chance of replacing him.
And ultimately THAT will be his excuse: There is LITERALLY nobody in America, or the world, that can do a better job than him, and since we’re in a war, it would be irresponsible to leave office, a blow to the nation from which they will never recover. It’s his civic responsibility, his love for his country, that will keep him in office until the resolution of the war…
…in about 2 weeks. No longer.
