The web interface is from bitwarden. Technically they could fork it but that would be much more work.

They don’t make any money off of the open source version. It is just a matter of the before they “discontinue” the open source version and move to source available.
If you have any doubts just look at Redis, Vagrant or Terraform

Vaultwarden still depends on upstream bitwarden

It is effectively going closed source

…by not complying with a draconian surveillance bill? Signal isn’t perfect but they are making the right call here.

Signal is also used by Nazis. However that doesn’t mean much as many other things are used by Nazis.

I don’t think that is terribly surprising as it is a pretty obscure reference

Hard disagree
People are slowly starting to wake up

Can we pease stop building panopticon
The only “upside” to all this is that the worse it gets the more awareness people have

Ah, that makes sense
Side note: you don’t need multiple ports to have multiple subnets. (You can just use vlans)
Put AI in the name and then sell it for like 40 million dollars
Why not use CoMaps?

Do you have any network segmentation is all your stuff on the same lan?
You also could try IPv6 public or private addresses

TrueNAS Scale is cool but I moved away from it as it is a pain and not terribly open

I run podman in proxmox vms

300 EUR is a lot of money depending on who you are
XMPP died along side XML. Outside of a few greybeards no one really uses it. I’m not sure why Lemmy seems to be so obsessed with a dead technology
I would be very careful with it as it has a long history of being unstable and hasn’t had a security audit.
Honesty my recommendation would be to use Signal or Molly. While it isn’t the best from a anonymity perspective it is reliable and easy to understand and use

True but if you look online Chrome OS devices are dirt cheap. The major trade off is that storage is limited
The web interface is based on bitwarden. You are thinking of the client api.
